Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and musician. He was one of the members of One Direction. The child of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on February 1, 1994, in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. There together with his three classmates, he founded his own band, White Eskimo. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their excellent presentations they took home the trophy. Although he has been a fan of music, He also wished to become a lawyer or an physiotherapist. As a worker in the city's bakery Harry Styles could afford to support his family. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010, and did Is not She Lovely, the Stevie Wonder song. He was chosen. It was for this reason that the group split. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they'd form the group One Direction after the X Test audition. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group. The group was formed in the year 2010. The group was backed by Simon Cowell. They performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You along with Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. The group was among the most competitive groups in the contest. However, they finished third place behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive any cash prize. However, Cowell has offered a two million-pound contract with One Direction in order for the group to be a part of Syco Records.
