Andrea Hope Elson is an American former actress. Elson began her career in the television industry as a model for children and actress. Her best-known role is Alice Tyler, portrayed by Elson in CBS the science-fiction series. Andrea got the part of Lynn Tanner, in ALF (1986) following an audition. The actress was a regular in a variety of TV shows as well as Movies of the week before she decided to retire from the entertainment business. Andrea Elson played Lynn Tanner in ALF The teenage girl to Kate and Willie. People wrote an article in which Elson described how difficult it was for her to transition into a young girl and perform in the sitcom. Elson, who was green eyed New York City native grew in her travels due to the advertising job her father had. Before she was ten years old, she was living between New York Chicago San Diego as well as Los Angeles. Andrea was able to win her first audition San Diego after she got an agent. Fusco justified the claim with the statement "ALF is 285 years old, therefore he's an adult who is able to drink alcohol." ALF was getting more well-known among kids, so NBC told Fusco that he couldn't drink alcohol because children were watching. He's a poor example to follow. Even though Fusco was of the opinion that ALF was an adult he is able to do what he does with drinking ... death. In 1995, Fusco was diagnosed with lymphoma. The treatment was successful and the disease remained in remission up to the end of 2019. In the Lillian Booth Actors Home of Englewood in New Jersey, on June 26, 2019 he died of this illness at the age of 75.
