Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk, a gifted actress as well as a writer, director, and producer. Anna was born in Fredericton. She is the daughter of Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" who hails originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending rehearsals for plays as a child as well as watching her mother at work. Anna appeared in numerous commercials in her youth.
